1931 Stearman C3R  "Business Speedster" NC799H C/N 5037. Next to the last C3R built Was used as a factory demonstrator from Jan 1931 to Sept 1931 Bought by Ellyn C. Heidenreich, Buffalo, NY who owned it for 40 years until his death in 1972. We bought it in 1979 and are only the 4th owner of  the airplane. NC799H was severely damaged in a ground loop accident after which my wife Nancy & I spent six years doing a complete restoration. In 1985 this aircraft was selected as AAA National Grand Champion.
